When was the last time the Palestinian Authority arrested a palestinian for war crimes? When was the last time the IDF prosecuted someone for war crimes?

In case you're wondering, a bedouin sniper in the IDF was sentenced to prison for the unlawful killing of a peace activist in the territories a year or two ago.

Too bad Arafat was too busy giving ammunition to Islamic Jihad to start arresting them.

i think i know what u are talking about, i watched a documentary about it.
the father of the sniper said his son didn't know it was a europeen, he thought it was a palestinian. (yes because they have the right to kill any palestinian, even for the fun of it),

yu'd think so, but obviously its not a big seller. there was an orgnaised meeting in the centre of the city in july 7th to remember those who got killed in london, it was organsied by a local islamic centre, they invited many many newspapers and tv people to view the event, they went to a lot of trouble, the mayor was invited, talks about islamic extremism and how it must be combatted in the west were organised, banners made etc etc, but only one or two very low key free newspapers turned up, and 1 local tv station which had the whole thing on for about 1 min. unless theres violence they dont seem to be interested, they call for moderate islam yet theres no support for them.

but it is an issue which effects this country, i dont see what the problem is in at least supporting those muslim communities who are trying to do soemthing about the situation.

We never asked Italian or Spanish Catholics to condemn Irish terrorism. But we expect Muslims from Morocco to Indonesia, to condemn what goes on in Palestine and elsewhere. Do you see the difference?

Maybe we would if IRA members were catholics from all over the world, it seems to any right thinking person is gonna ask questions when British muslims are blowing themselves up for the same causue as Indoneasion Muslims and there only link is Islam.
