Why is the UN in middle east?
Well let me put this to you straight.
Israel f****d up.
UN is the most neutral player on the world right now and is really the only one suited for doing this job.
That is why the UN is there.
Why cant the UN disarm Hezbollah while making Israel pull back.
Israel is a part of the UN Hezbollah is not. Hezbollah is a group and will have to be forced to get rid of its weapons. The UN obviously doesnt have the force and Israel obviously doesnt have the brains with out making the situation worse. So we take the better of the two evils and BAM we have UN in the middle east.
So it might not be the best possible choice but it is the choice we have. |

You fool - my entire argument here is that there is a distinction between the citizens of a counrty, and the actions of the gov't of that counrty.
It would be like me saying that ALL Israel's acted like Terrorist in their tactics of the recent lebanese conflict. An even worse example would be if I said; ALL Jews acted like Terrorists in the recent conflict. |
