Been a while since I've responded to this but what the heck.
Fire alone did not bring down any of the WTC buildings, you are all corect here. however, a 767 traveling at over 450mph which ripped through the entire building severly weakended the structeral integrity of the building. It is of know coincidence that the collaps of both towers initiated at the point of impact of each plane. That was where the weakest point was. fire most likely expediated the process but even if there was no fire whatsoever the buildings would have collapsed. The WTC twin towers were built with two primary load bearing points. unlike most other building which use vertical support columns the WTC towers load bearing was the exoskelton comprised of concrete and rebar along with the inner core. Both planes had severely compromised both the exoskeleton and the inner core.
The second tower to be hit was struck more to the side with more of the outer portion of the building damaged. In any of the videos you see the first collapse to be of the entire building beginning to fall to the side at the point of impact of where the plane hit. Watch the video closely and in the final seconds before the building begins coming down you can see it beginning to tip. The 77th floor gives way and all floors above initially stay intact for a couple of seconds.
Explosive force- basically that is what any explosion actually is and what is seen and heard is a simple transfer of energy. Witnesses from the Titanic had made statements of the sound of an explosion as the ship broke apart on the surface.
Explosive force was seen and heard as each floor blew out from the weight of the entire building on top of it came down on it. |

I agree, but instead of looking at the big picture conspiracy theorists point out small and insignificant mishaps. |

Might I add they also make unsubstantiated claims. |

It's an incredibly well substantiated claim.. it's on public record in any number of newspapers.
One of the greatest and most dangerous terrorists operating on U.S. soil is a man by the name of Magdy El-Amir. El-Amir is also one of the Chertoff's oldest and best friends (and clients), and Chertoff protected El-Amir during the 9/11 investigations that tried to trace how the drug money that finances terrorism flows through the U.S.. |
