| CNN is reporting that the US and possibly the British Embassy may be under attack. Possibly a gun man or truck bomb |

| Apparently it was foiled and the Syrians killed the gunmen but a car bomb still went off. |

Here's Syria's take, quoted in the NY Times:
Syria, however, was quick to blame the United States. “It is regrettable that U.S. policies in the Middle East have fueled extremism, terrorism and anti-U.S. sentiment,” said a statement on Tuesday from the Syrian Embassy in Washington. “What has happened recently in Lebanon, the Palestinian territories and Iraq is exacerbating the fight against global terrorism.” |

i saw that report.
fortunatly there's no article for it...
but the syrian security forces killed the men before they attacked the embassy i think. atleast that's what was on the report. |
