Gun control laws are spreading and they are good laws which need to have people leave them alone. The RTC and CCW is a wonderful thing LL and you are only afraid to admit it.
The CCW laws are restrictive gun control laws giving the privilege to some gun lovers to carry weapons for a fee and for a limited period only.

Gun control laws are spreading indeed Lilwolf, let's rejoice to this facts, get used to ask for the privilege to carry your guns, already you have to go through hoops to purchase one from a legal gun dealer, soon you'll have to do the same to keep guns legally.

But LL, did you or did you not say somewhere here that you did not like the RTC and CCW laws? Also 1.5 to 2.0 million lives are saved and have been saved due to people having guns.
So, if you are going to imply that a woman that has a gun is not saving her life from a bad guy I really think you should rethink that lunacy. Guns do save lives and have done so on millions of occassions...oops I'm sorry you don't believe that even when the numbers are there in front of you. |

You still have not grasped what a principle is. You have never raised a principle. And you refuse to deal with them. You merely point out in bullet form where you stand and not why. The only why in your case is because of a graph or a stat.
Your arguments are hollow without principle. They are just lines on a graph and numbers written by someone somewhere.
Best of luck to you Mr. Lucky. May you build your life and happiness on the basis of how many people drink how much on which day of the week. And may you eternally enjoy your 2.3 holidays per month in your 45% satisfied society with your 1.7 children.
You have really done it now Lefneckredwing, I shall remind you of your admission that Gun control is not a subject that interests you. I always claimed that you were here in this Gun Control forum only to push your political agenda into those gun lovers throats.
Gun control is not a philosophical matter but a practical measure to reduce any insane murder rate Leftneckredwing, go back to your books.
I can't see what the holidays I take a month or the number of children I may have got to do with gun control Lefneckedwing, what kind of arguments are those?

You version of gun control is hardly practical LL. You have yet to state a principle of what and why and your versions of gun control really do not interest many people and me included. Neither he nor I have ever tried to push our agenda down anyones throat, the exact opposite could be said about your insane agendas. You want nothing better than to strip people of their rights. That is what you have constantly preached and you want nothnig better than to see people surrender and be babysat by the govt. That is the agenda you have been pushing onto everyone around here. You lack the most important thing LL.....common sense. |

Guns don't save lives, you should know that much by now Lilwolf.
I do believe that there are too many gun laws in America, adding tougher ones makes sense but adding softer ones seems to be only futile attempts of some politicians to get votes from gun lovers.
You should be sorry, I have already proved to you how wrong you are claiming such nonsense.

Gun contol in Canada consists of getting a picture ID. Pistols and assault weapons are pretty much banned. But you are not prosecuted for not registering your weapons unless you commit a crime. So if you keep your nose clean, you can do what you like. |

Why don't you opt for the Canadian set of regulations and change the American gun culture to a Canadian type of hunting gun culture Lefneckredwing? That would make more sense than to push your political agenda in this forum.
I truly believe in self regulation before to introduce new laws but the American gun lobby wants it all even at the risk of losing it all. I understand that gun manufacturers want to keep their profit high today but any good politician would defend the interests of gun lovers first by securing a future for American gun lovers loving their guns. As I see it America will end up with the most draconian gun control laws on earth and you will be the one to blame Lefneckredwing.

There's change I would like to make, but that ain't it. You don't even get what I'm saying. I'm saying that gun control exsits on paper but not in fact. No one pays any attention to it except for gun shops and the Fiberals. That's how all forms of prohibition work. It just drives whatever part of the economy it is affecting underground and out of sight. Prostitution for instance. Tell me UK has no prostitutes. Prohibition never works. It just makes whatever is prohibited more expensive and sometimes less conspicuous. Like landmine production. Like anything on earth you care to name.
If I was in the bush, I could have pistols on my hip, I could have assault weapons, I could even have a cannon. No one would care. Up north, lots of people have pistols. No one cares.
If you think it's so important, why don't you change it?
How come it's ok for you to push your political agenda but I shouldn't? You're being very authoritarian.
Quit trying to guilt people into doing what you want. I'm not even slightly interested in what you want until you try to shove it down my throat. Then I get interested.
Just keep this in mind Lucky, no one here has tried to shove anything down your throat. You're the only one pushing anything. All we have done is defend the Rights we have. |

Gun control is not that important in countries where the gun culture is not about killing people for fun. The American gun culture glorifies guns as playful things and as means to defend oneself and yet America has an insane murder rate. When are you going to understand how wrong this gun culture of yours is Leftneckredwing?
You claimed earlier that you did not care about gun control, why are you still here selling your political agenda if it is the case?
The answer is already in the question, may be you have a better answer, surprise me!
I have no political agenda in this forum, I just want to understand how people can still be in denial when killing each other at such insane rate.

The increase in America's murder rate from 2004 to 2005 is much more than 0.6% Lilwolf, would you like a quote with a link to prove it to you?

It can't be the American murder rate increase from 2004 to 2005 Lilwolf, what is it? Do you know or are you just posting numbers without any clues of what they are about?
Please don't use honesty as a way to refuse to back up your wild claims, you don't seem to know the meaning of the word.
