I was lookin for a remote that could control my xbox 360 and at least 3 other devices and I've looked at the Logitech Harmony remote, which is awesome, but I don't exactly want to spend $120 on a remote. I mean, Microsoft is crazy if they think that most people who have a 360 have just a 360 and their TV hooked up. They should make an affordable solution to remote clutter. If I can't find a decent one I'm just gonna buy a $9 universal at wal-mart and just forget the 360 remote.
Any help would be appreciated!

Any alternative advanced programmable remote control is going to cost between $150 to $300......and probably won't support the Xbox 360.

I didn't nessisarily need an advanced programmable remote- I just need one to support 4 devices. Kinda like the Media Universal remote made by microsoft, only supporting more than just a TV.

You can get a basic universal that should easily support 4 devices for like $12 at Target, however it won't support the Xbox 360. Microsoft wants you to use theirs.

After dealing with Microsoft in the professional world for years, know this before you ever buy a Microsoft product:

The bottom line is never the bottom line.

Can't you just use the wireless controller to surf the dashboard?
