Claudia Schiffer doesn't have any original points so he just keeps regurgigtating the same tired stuff over and over again even though they've been proven to be lies. Well, I suppose if you have nothing else.....
As for the why do I care, I've answered that numerous times as well as I know you are well aware. But just to entertain you, I care because you and your kind are lying out your ass and trying to undermine the government while letting the true criminals go. YOU may consider your agenda worth it, but personally I think your agenda is worthless and extremely counterproductive.
I am not here to convince conspiracy theorists of the truth. That is an impossibility as has been proven time and time again. I am here to show just how looney conspiracy theorists are by pointing out the numerous flaws in their theories and logic while exposing their numerous lies.
I consider that a cause worth caring about. |

Enoch wrote: I usually avoid conspiracy theories, and those who espouse them, with extreme vigilance. However, recently, I have become more intrigued by the concept of “alternate” theories (to borrow the newly formed name of this forum).
After reading theories ranging from Bush personally planning 9/11 to a secret cabal of people controlling the world, I have come to two reasons why it is becoming increasingly difficult to take conspiracy theorists seriously.
First, it is often the case that conspiracy theorists lack the evidence, or at least desire to post evidence, regarding their claims. Numerous times disbelievers of these theories are met with criticism, if not downright fury, over requests for proof. Disbelievers get responses like “I just provided you all the proof you need,” when that “proof” is little more than opinion with NO evidence, or even an outside source sometimes. We are expected to take the opinion of these theorists at face value, and are accused of being brainwashed or lazy if we say that we want proof.
Second, there is a disturbing trend among some conspiracy theorists to ask the disbeliever to disprove the theories presented. “Prove to me that 9/11 wasn’t a government plot” (to quote the infamous $1 million 9/11 challenge.) Ah, herein lies a problem. It is a poorly constructed rhetorical fallacy to ask someone to disprove an unproven theory. It is well known that you can not prove a negative. For example, I could ask someone to prove that I did not have a green bike when I was a kid. But, how can someone do that? And, more appropriately, is it really the job of the skeptic to do so? It is MY responsibility, if I am saying that I did have a green bike as a child, to prove my claim. It is not YOUR responsibility to disprove my claim. The person postulating that 9/11 was a government plot, or that a cabal of powerful people control the world, is under the obligation to prove their claim.
So, my question to all present is this: At what point should a reasonably intelligent person entertain “alternate” theories presented? Should this happen simply based on someone’s speculation? Or, rather, should there be a reasonable expectation to back up one’s theories with data and support, and not just opinions (either their own or others)?
First of all, lumping all conspiracies together is a bad foundation for a discussion.
Are there any conspiracies theories which you believe are true?
Have you ever researched a conspiracy theory? If yes, which ones?
I have researched many and some are obviously true.
Obvious true conspiracies.........
Foreknowledge of the Attack on Pearl Harbor
TWA 800
The OKC bombing
The approval of rBGH
The Marijauna Tax Act
You want people to hand you the evidence which proves a conspiracy, but will you actually read ALL of the evidence presented? If you find a tidbit that you don't believe, will you possibly do a little research on your own?
In my opinion, the evidence for both sides of the 911 deabte is shaky. I see many more questions than answers and in my opinion, people are a little eager to believe one side, or the other. If I had researched Pearl Harbor before Stimsosn's diary was released, or before McCollum's memo was declassified, then I might have come to a different conclusion than I would with those two key pieces of evidence.
Feel free to ask conspiracy theorists for proof and if they can't deliver, then move on to something else, but if you find any topic that interests you, conspiracy theory or not, then please feel free to DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. |

My comments were directed at those conspiracy theorists who espouse a theory, yet do not back it up. |

Explain to me why this is a conspiracy? The US knew it would end up in a war with Japan. Look at the naval movements in the six months before the war broke out. They knew it would be a sunday - just not which one of the avalilable 52.
The Japanese used unknown weapons to attack in a style only ever attempted once before, and thought not to be possible in the shallow draft of Pearl Harbour.
Fully warned, what exactly where the US going to do to stop the attack. Dont say send the Battleships out. They would never have found the carriers, and would actually have been easier to destroy.
If you want to know what battleships could do against air attack in open water, read up on the last action of the Prince Of Wales and Repulse. |

Regardless of who you believe the "real" criminals are, Washington has done an excellent job of letting them escape all on its own.. :rotf:

Almost everything in your post is wrong.
If you would like to see the evidence, start a new thread on Pearl Harbor and I will post the evidence there.

As per usual, Norrin Radd considers you wrong just because he doesn't think you've done as much research as he has and thus are misinformed. Don't believe me? Look at almost all of Norrin's posts and you will see where he asks you what research you've done and then goes on to beat his chest about all the research he has done. ;-) |

No, you don't get it. It is obvious that there was not only foreknowledge of the attack on Pearl, but that FDR intentionally provoked a Japanese attack on Pearl.
The evidence proves it, but I doubt you even bothered to view the evidence.
Stimson's diary alone is proof that FDR knew an attack was eminent, but if you add in all the other evidence, including the deciphered intercepts and the McOLLUM memo, the warning from the US ambassador to Japan, the fact that Admiral Rochardson destroyed his career trying to convine FDR it was unsafe to station the Pacific Fleet at Pearl, the results of all the excercises which proved how vulnerable Pearl was to attack, the suppression of information from Kimmel and Short, the Red Cross connection, as well as all the other evidence, then it leaves no doubt that FDR knew an attack was coming and it shows that Pearl was the most likely target.
I noticed you did not counter one shred of information. I will not post all the evidence here, but I will start a new thread. Feel free to come there and argue the evidence.
The thread will be titled PEARL HARBOR: AN OBVIOUS CONSPIRACY |

I think you are missing the point. EVERYONE knew Pearl would be hit. LIke I said go look at US naval movements for six months before the attack. A very obvious patterns appears very quickly.
And what exactly was the US going to do to stop the attack?
The US navy had a very specific role at Pearl Harbor that day - And it actually succeeded in its mission. To not stop an attack, but to stop an invasion.
And please please lets remember that if the Japanese had read their clock properly it would not have even been a suprise attack |

If EVERYONE knew Pearl was the target, then why do so many historians, military officers and the media deny that there was foreknowledge of the attack?
If you wish to believe that planners truly believed an invasion was impending, then nothing I say will change your mind. I know what you say is true, Short did plan for an invasion, but I belive that the war planners knew an invasion was unlikely. Taking control of Pearl could have been possible, but holding it was not. |

Thats alright - I have been tinkering with naval history for 35 or so years. Unfortunately most of my best reference material is pre-internet, so hard to link.
But thats alright - so far there hasn't been anything to challenging. We are duking it out on another thread anyway - pop over and have a read some time when you cant sleep lol[/code] |

I consider that a cause worth caring about.

You're the liar, you're a military posing as a regular dude! What? You think we didn't know?
I also noticed that as soon as we started calling you speacial agent Patriot, you changed your name for speacial agent Patriot  ,..nice way to defuse the cituation and I'm sure your superiors are proud of you.
I also noticed very high % of military around here which is more than suspicious. |

You are free to believe what you want, but it is nothing but a pack of lies and ones that are easily exposed for lies. Besides.... anyone who claims to know something about someone else's real life outside the boards is setting themselves up for some serious disappointments.
I've had "special agent VRWC" for quite some time now as can be proven in the republican forum when I was "assigned" that tag as a joke. VRWC stands for Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. It had nothing at all to do with your calling me a "special agent". Proven lie.
You can continue to make these claims about me, but I am pretty sure the mods and admins frown on this type of activity. |

That's what I'm wondering..
So I'm a liar now? ...And you sound desperate.
I am sorry. I did not mean to make it seem like you are a liar now. You've always been a liar. There.... does that clear up the confusion? And I'm not desperate. I'm not the one having to make up baby sounds to make themselves seem intelligent.
Yea! I'm sure they'll let you troll for ever and call me a liar, but will banne me for calling you a liar.
Btw, there's no way for me to know if youy're military or a republican cheeleader ired and paied for by the republican party, but i know that you spend way to much time and energy trying to debunk the truth. If you don't believe in a conspiracy, why don't you go and do something you like? You obviously don't like conspiracies and you obviously rather trust your government. So why don't you go on with your life and do something you really like?
You're doing this full time danmet! You think we wouldn't figure it out? Really?
