Incidentally, a cease-fire would fall right in line with Hezbollah’s plan. In fact, Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah implicitly called for a cease-fire in a televised address on August 3 in which he said Hezbollah would cease rocket attacks on Israel if Israel stopped its airstrikes.

As for all of the other things I would want to see accurate numbers of IDF forces killed vs Hezzbollah fighter and not civilians.
Civilians in this were for the most part caused by the hez hiding with civilians.
You can think as you wish and i will respect that okay, but I just see it from a military and strategic POV.
i agree with fiction-it was lebanon not hezbollah who asked for a cease fire.
wrong
http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2761653
no im not-hezbollah didnt asked for a cease fire-lebann did.you cant escape this.hezbollah operates against lebanis agenda-just like fiction said.
Then why does the article state the following:
BEIRUT, July 28 -- As fighting raged on in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah joined the Lebanese government in a peace proposal calling for an immediate cease-fire with Israel followed swiftly by a prisoner exchange and reinforcement of U.N. troops along the embattled border, senior Lebanese officials said Friday
The opening line says they joined with the lebanese govt. I'd say that is a pretty good accurate statement in that it is right there for you to see. |

yeah and non of this took place in the end.
besides he said theyve joined meaning they are two separte groups-the lebaneas gov and hezbollah.
fiction is right-hezbollah only operates from lebanon.it does not answer to the lebaneas gov.hezbollah does what it wants when it wants. |

After reading several of your posts here and there I am wondering about you. So, I will ask you straight out. Do you support the terrorist organization called Hezbollah?
Do you support Nassarallah?
Iwill await your responses. :? |

LOL - OMFG - LOL
It's really easy to label people X, eh?
Quick sniff out everyone, who has given a factually correct post, and label them a terrorist, as per the common sense & facts they display in said post... but especially if they are agreeing with me!
Priceless, you are asking a Zionist if he is a terrorist, just priceless! |

No, that is not support. That is me expressing how I see things in the region... my opinion on certian issues, but not support
IMO, Israel did get their asses handed to them, as per what the numbers of casualties, on each respective side VS munitions fired.
IMO, Hezbollah were the victors in this conflict. In more ways than one.
Hezbollah is a legit part of the lebanese Gov't - Fact!
So once again, you can put all the words in my mouth that you like, but it's just really pathetic of you to constantly bait me out to explain myself, even though i have countlessly said; that I am against hezbollah... are you slow? a bad reader? or do you have a short term memory issue? Because I've told you this over 5 times now...... So please STOP assuming things onto me
okay? |

and if you dont support hezbollah why do you say its a legite group?it has weapons from iran and syria.
and now you are saying it is part of the gov-so hezbollah represent lebanon but when lebanon asks for a cease fire hezbollah doesnt?
im not a slow reader im just confused from your statements. |

I don't asume you support anyone, I jsut argue your points & make general statements, that you respond to.
The only thing I know about you is that you are a Zionist - other than that, I really don't assume much...
the sane voice wrote: and if you dont support hezbollah why do you say its a legite group?
There is a defference between supporting & commenting on the fact that they are a legit group, is ther not?
the sane voice wrote: it has weapons from iran and syria.
So?
Israel gets there weapons from the USA - do you have a point?
the sane voice wrote: and now you are saying it is part of the gov
Would it make a difference if someone else told you this FACT? or because it's me, does that somehow translate into me supporting them?
WTF is wrong with you?
the sane voice wrote: -so hezbollah represent lebanon but when lebanon asks for a cease fire hezbollah doesnt?
That is correct. even though Hez holds a few seats in parliamnet, does make them one in the same in terms where they stand on issues...

Ok here is the test, do you accept that they are a terrorist organization with multiple terrorist attacks to there name including the recent continuiation of absentia proceedings in Argentina for their attacks there that combined killed nearly 150 people. |

not if that group agenda is to "free all of palestine"
Quote: So?

hezbollah is an in depended group.its like us would give weapons not to israel and idf but to military groups like chana hai.

no its confusing because you say its part of the lebanease gov and then states that lebanon asked for a cease fire not hezbollah.
which i agree-hezbollah agenda are not compatible with lebanon.

so you admit hezbollah has different agendas than the lebanease gov.ok.

does the above statement indicate I support group Y ?

Hezbollah did not ask for a cese-fire
The Lebanese PM did
Hezbollah operates as a state within a state
I'm not talking about this anymore in here....

Sane voice...I was asking is all, because i got confused by some answers is all. I am understanding now.
I accept that they are a terrorist organization that needs to be removed from the face of the earth.
I would and do openly stand by for the desruction of the hezbollah org.
and their elimination. |

Sorry, I missed this post - No dissrespect, but I have already answered this question in other threads & have made it VERY CLEAR about where I stand. Due to that, I don't feel it necessary to explain myself again & again & again & again
I'm sure you understand. |
