| There has been many thoughts surrounding the Mayan calendar. The world is said to end on 12/21/2012...this is said to be the return of the gods. Could this be the Anunaki? |

The Mayans and the Sumerians were seperated vastly by space (Central America VS Middle East). Mythologically, it could not have been the Anunaki who would return. |

The Mayans and the Sumerians were seperated vastly by space (Central America VS Middle East). Mythologically, it could not have been the Anunaki who would return.
Only if you do not believe that the spirit world has a real, objective existance. It is possible the anunaki appeared to both the sumerians and the mayans. |

The Anunaki were alien I think they could have done it if they wanted. |

While on the surface they do appear quite different, they do also share many similarities. Both held reverence for the serpent god, or serpent with wings. Both utilized the step pyramid design for religious purposes. And both had detailed calendars based on an advanced working knowledge of astronomy. Also, the Mayan calendar, which only went forward roughly 1,000 years, traced the dates and positions of the stars for around 500,000 years in the past! The significance of this is, this is roughly the same time the Sumerian's said that their gods arrived on earth. I can definitely see some connection, though if it is an actual connection, or just a superficial one I can not say yet. |

The Anunaki were alien I think they could have done it if they wanted.
Not all aliens are technologically advanced and super-intelligent, look at the canadians. |
