I would actually like to endorse the creation of a Fascist HQ. It would be dedicated to the fundamental understanding of what Fascism actually is, because it's definition is not so concrete. It would be a place where members could discuss their theories and beliefs about Fascism, whether certain nations employed Fascism, and failures and successes of Fascism in the past. It would harbor real political discussion of fascist theory instead of degenerating into "Fascism = Hitler" topics that frequent PCF.
There is a certain group of people on this board that don't fit into the other HQ's, yet may just fit into "The Fascist HQ". I want to give them the chance to discuss their beliefs without people mocking or insulting them.
This is about whether or not you "like" Fascist theory. Rather do you endorse a place for people to discuss their own political beliefs free from condescension and hatred. |

I'm refraining from voting right now.
While I would certainly support its creation, I don't think that there would be enough members to validate its creation. |

But the radical HQ already encompasses the far left's beliefs.
No HQ represents the far right's beliefs. The Republicans, Libertarians, and Anarcho-Capitalists are hardly close to the fascists.
(in before Republican fascist joke) |

Perhaps, but if people don't want it here, if they don't favor free exchange of ideas, then there's no reason to create it. Hence the poll.
If it's created I'll search for members and take responsibility for it. |

While they're at it, they should also create the Fiscally Conservative Republican HQ and the Socially Conservative Republican HQ. Also, I think it would be a good idea to split the two parties up.
Hmmm...
Can you guess...?
I VOTED NO. |

| I would if there were enough fascists on this board. But honestly, if one is created, I predict it will be less active than the Constitution HQ was. |

But there is a distinct differenece between the way fascists and ultra-right people are treated on this board. Libertarians, Republicans, Democrats, Radicals, Greens, Independents, and even most Anarchists can post without being mocked every three seconds. You can't even debate fascism on the board without being called "Hitler". And considering the word fascist is thrown around as an insult every minute on P&G, it makes it really difficult to post here for any fascists that wish to come.
For example, remember the Falconist 2.0 topic? Nearly everyone trolled that topic with retarded and sarcastic responses (myself included, which I regretted when I realized everyone was mocking the poor bastard). And the Falconists only have some Fascist tendencies.
My point is, fascists are inherently different from the other members of this board in the way they are treated even when posting on the mildest of topics. Which is why I don't believe the size of the HQ matters as much as the others. |

The issue here is that fascists have a historical tendency to silence people. In fact, it's essentially a part of the political ideology (ie. extreme nationalism, totalitarianism). I wouldn't have a problem voting for an HQ for people who are not represented by the current ones except if their ideology is itself against free expression and is for silencing others. Why give someone an opportunity to express their voice through a formal HQ when their ideology is inherently for the crushing of opposition and dissent? I vote no. |

Fascism has many definitions and is not entirely concrete. Not every fascist fits the Hitler mold. What is wrong with embracing people that don't fit in anywhere else? It's going to be a small group. There views probably won't affect you, at least in cyberspace. For a group that is constantly hated on this board I think a private board for them would fit well, where they can discuss their ideology without being insulted so often. |

Fascism has concrete characteristics. It is defined by authoritarianism and right-wing collectivism.
I am very opposed to fascism, for obvious reasons. I mean hell, I'm a libertarian, Jewish, and queer. That's like the triple crown of obvious anti-fascism! I voted yes though, because I do think that fascism is often misused in debates. I would also be interested in seeing how many people actually join. |

I suppose you might find it interesting discussing the various possibilities for religious corporatism. Corporation = God. People = Bad. Maybe fascists can agree on those two ridiculous notions, but I doubt you can even have an intelligent discussion about God and shoving religion down throats. |

| how about we create it so people can join and then we can also vote people in to that HQ because they are lost souls that insist that the state is supreme and owns the people. I have about 6 clear cut people i would vote in if that were the case. |
