| is it possible to have topics that start with copy and pasting an article, instead u just link us to the article? |

I usually will copy/paste article...at least some of it along with link... The link should be pasted regardless |

| I think as long as you paste the link you can paste the article. The reason for that is, people shouldn't have to go and find the article themselves to verify it or if you took anything out of context. Basically it's just common courtesy that happens to be a forum rule. |

| Personally, I prefer a cut and paste of the article and a link. But a link is always necessary if a thread involves an article. |
