Firefox's Javascript parser is f****d up. I noticed it while testing some Javascript I was writing. Way f****d up. It was occasionally giving me random errors, not catching infinite loop errors, and the DOM wouldn't work properly. So, I tested it in internet explorer and voila, it worked. It's a good thing too: who the hell would ever catch a problem with the Javascript parser EXCEPT somebody writing Javascript?

I'm going to take a wild guess here that it's a virus, probably one crafted by Microsoft. But Mozilla needs to deal with this crap. I mean, come on, a basic Javascript parser -- isn't that crap provided to the public for free by Netscape?

In between this and Firefox bouncing when I remove all toolbars and bookmarks from the GUI, this is bulls**t.

I use the "noscript" extension so I have no problems whatsoever with javascripts.

Javascript? What the heck is that? I've got it, but up to now I haven't actually taken the time to find out what it actually is.

Opera actually has the fastest Javascript implementation of the big browsers. Firefox lags wayyy behind the competition in Javascript.

You can try regular Mozilla or Opera. I would avoid IE as much as possible.

i use mozilla.

Firefox acts like a jumping bean for me. Hasn't been fixed in two versions.

I want a fast, stable, light browser. And i'm willing to have a bit of give and take on those points.

If I wanted a naked blindingly fast browser I would use Opera. But its just ugly and clunky. Not enough of what I want.
