It is relevant because the people who originally demanded this forum be created are now upset because it's here - and so my point is, really - what exactly will make some of you happy? I empathize and do not eny the Mod's position many times including this one. There is no way to make everyone happy. Therefore, keeping or discarding the AT section of the forum decision must be made not to appease any one group, but as a decision for betterment or detriment P&G overall.

I do not understand what is so hard about not opening a forum up if you do not like its contents. And as far as conspiracy posts being in P&G - then tell someone and we will move them. Again, quite right - however there's a balance that must be met - screaming foul each time there's the crossover into P&G or others will ultimately result in identifying the "whiners" and then complacency... at least, that's the way I've seen it occur in tha past. I generalize I know...

TheGirlNextDoor wrote: And while I understand your complaint, the last part of your post is totally uncalled for and unnecessary. And it was meant to be so ... it's as outrageous as I find other crossover AT material, which I will now report as such. Apologies if it was overly offensive.

Best post in this thread. Any "hijacking" by posting conspiracy stuff is against the rules and will result in a warning (at least), but obviously we can't see everything...so help yourselves out a bit by helping us.

4. I'm not a troll. I am merely trying to figure out why people can't resist clicking their mouse button instead of just ignoring it.
Exactly. Nobody HAS to go into the conspiracy forums, and if it makes them that mad, maybe they shouldn't. Since you two are too dense to realize what I wrote, I was stating that people including I don't go into P&G or the Conspiracy Forum because of these people. Does that help you out? I wasn't stating I go in there and get frustrated...

Hence why mine was on topic and yours was trolling ....

The whole point I am trying to make is that the Conspiracy Forum itself has done more harm than good. It's made it rational for conspiracy theorists to even exist here.

Most of them are bringing their conspiracies with them to P&G, because they believe it is their obligation to give us the "truth" and bring it into debate.

you have options, don't click those links; ignore those people; and report those posts. Now quit whining about every little thing.

Again you seem to have trouble grasping my point.

These people are not keeping their arguments to their own little world. They are bringing them up in real forums, all the time.

They aren't always their own threads, but they slip their conspiracies into regular debate.

Seems the point has been addressed more than once and people are still harping about it.

And as a regular member now I can say this:

Who the hell cares. If you see a conspiracy post somewhere OTHER THAN the forum for just that.. then report the damn thing.

Yeah. Amazing. My opinion is still the same.

There's a button over next to their posts, it ignores them so you can't see whatever it is their posting. Use it or shut up.

same goes with the report posts buttons.

It appears the average user on this forum has to have something to whine about or they just aren't happy.

Yep.

Ok now that everyone seems to understand each others position - what's the next step?

1. Nothing
2. AT will be closed
3. P&G issues are the responsibility of PCF members (see #1)
4. Thread locked (see #1)

Yes it was the Republicans idea to filter out the irrational loons from the regular forum. Have you seen any conspiracists on this thread to plead their case? No, because they know I'm right.

Again, my solution would be a much stricter policy on individual posters who repeatedly bring the topics into debate.
