I'd like to suggest this thread as a recepticle for those odd stories that show our country, the UK (or its composite nations if you prefer), has/have 'gone wrong'.

All too many, afraid to say; another sign the country's going to the dogs!
At least Springer has the exoticism of being foreign with lots of interesting down-home, southern fried accents whereas the British home-grown variety is filled with fat, ill-educated, violent scum of the variety you see around and about every day. |

Yeah, it's called 'Trisha'. Though Jerry Springer has done a couple of UK shows as well.... |

that's my whole point, if the UK had a voice it would not feel the need to "use" America.
But it doesn't anylonger. WWII put pay to the end of the British as the global force in politics and America took its place. |
