I for one don't really buy this experiment. I think a major factor was that the beams holding up the building were covered in somewhat flamable material, plus had a large amount more of flamable material inside the building that could easily have led to the fire catching the roof. It would need to be more structured and scaled to an actual likeness of the circumstances.

Also if it were in scale that man would have to be gigantic. I mean he could stand on top of the WTC for the love of God!

Also I'd like to know how hot aviation fuel burns in relation to kerosene. I would imagine that aviation fuel would be a little hotter.

Sorry, I mean not scaled to actual measurements, but scaled down to likeness representation. If the cage was scaled to match a more accurate representation of the WTC it would have not had such a wide base, and had a greater height.

That is a really goofy and unscientific experiment.

It's like testing the moonlanding claims by making paper airplanes and putting them in the microwave.

It's like testing the parting the Red Sea from the book of Exodus by putting GI Joe toys in the bathtub and farting wildly.

I could go on...

so he used kerosene and steel to simulate what jet fuel and steel would do?

not only didn't he take into consideration the explosion but his steel wire structure is a horrible representation of the twin towers.

The experiment and argument are a fallacy.

A small scale object is more stable than an upscale object built with
the same materials. The larger scaled object will deform and collapse
under a force scaled up in proportion to the size of the larger object.

The reason is that the supportable force of a beam rises at less than direct proportion to size (forgot damn equation).

This is why you can build a 12 inch "skyscraper" with rolled newspaper
but can't build a real size skyscraper out of paper.
