Yo, wierd place for my homecoming, but meh. I have a question.

Everytime I try to log onto a site where I need to input some vital information (ebay login, budk chechout, things of that nature) I keep getting a 404 dns. Can anyone tell me why? I can't get to anything on ebay now, and I didn't find anything in their faqs about it.

Sounds like spyware or possibly a trojan.

Download Spybot Search and Destroy, update it, and run it.

Then see if it still occurs.

It is possible that all you may have to do is just delete your cookies and your temp internet files.

If that is not the problem and you have ran a spyware program and possibly tried a different browser, you may want to try renewing your IP address.

To renew your IP address you can:

go start>run>type "cmd" press enter
type ipconfig /release (gets rid of the current IP address)
type ipconfig /renew (gives you a new IP address)

Make sure you also download Adaware and Windows Defender (if you copy of Windows is legit). These programs can pick up malware, that Spybot may have missed.
