| I was under the impression no one really gave a damn to what George Galloway said especially with his horrible record of showing up to parliament to vote. |

Galloway is a show pony, but he still handed the senate commitee their asses. that's the British parlimantary madhouse paying off for the people who can stomach living it. It's a good thing they didn't pick on a korean politician.
edit: yep that's standard galloway fare in the sky vid. |

The morons who voted for him, were the same Muslims who voted for and put into government a Jewish lady called Oona King for the previous 8 years. She basically got voted out because she was a supporter of the Iraq war, the election campaign was a nasty one, with accusations of anti-semitism. Mr Galloway for whatever you think of him, forget his very leftish views and his outspokenness, I disagree with many of his views and think he's sometimes gets too big for his boots. But one thing all of his opponents will agree on, his mind is as sharp as they come.
On many occasions the British political establishment have tried to discredit and slander him. The newspapers have tried and failed to the detriment of their pockets and lost court cases to him. There have been numerous parliamentary inquiries into all his dealings, with him being able to clear his name. Also the beating he dished to the U.S senate hearing. Why oh why did they give old Galloway that kind of platform, I will never know.
That kind of hearing was built for the British parliamentary style of debating. Norm Coleman the senator who had the unenviable task on taking on Galloway, was "way out of his depth" it was almost embarrassing. If it was a boxing match it would have been stopped, because the committee could'nt lay a glove on him.
I'll advise anyone to watch the senate hearing. its 47 minutes long, but well worth watching.

He's the one on the Left
Well its says it all about someones ego, if they wish to go on Big Brother. The ego is the downfall to many people and he may yet get his turn. But so far he's untouchable. The libel cases and the parliamentary inquiries he's undefeated, plus he's the darling of the left and the anti-war movement. You either lover him or loath him, there no middle ground with Galloway. |

| What I was lead to beleive as one of the main issues with Galliway is that instead of focusing on going to the actual votes and participating in Parliament like he should, he focuses more in voicing support for his own causes and campaigning on them and ignoring his parliamentry duties using his position more as a podium rather then as an actual reprisentative in Parliement. |

Your right skippy and even more. He is a self serving politician with an EGO the size of Europe. His ego has grow so large because of the people who have attempted to discredit him have failed. Our British government has attempted to smear Galloway for years, they have failed so many times that they dont even bother anymore.
Superskippy, when you have time watch the senate hearing, I almost forgot how funny it was. Senator Coleman got eaten for breakfast. Munch munch. |
