What of the Anarcho-Capitalists?

The logical choice, given the ones available, would be the Libertarian Party or the Radical Party, but neither apply.

Anarcho-Capitalsim is not Libertarian because it calls for the elimination of the state.

Yet, it is also not "Radical" because it supports a Capitalist economy.

And so I ask, what of those without a home?

But I'm not a Libertarian (philosophically); and I not going to conform my ideals to fit into a pre-selected group...

While I would argue you that the current LHQ is mostly made up of Anarchists or Minarchists currently. Not much in the way of moderate Libertarians, so if anarchy is your cup of tea, the LHQ is pretty close to it.

I guess for those who must feel like they "belong", its a requirement to pick a party. I myself like being an outsider and not affiliated with any party lines... therefore the expectations are low, I can be ambivilent yet concerned, I can also straddle the line between conservative foreign policy and uber liberal ecology with little or no regard for social services or large government!

Freedom is never having to smile and knowingly lie because your party tells you to.

Unfortunately, I considered that after I already requested membership...

I am now considering withdrawing my membership on the grounds that I am not a Libertarian, and that I can't conform my ideals to be grouped with them. I'll let my posts speak for themselves.

Eh I don't fit in the LHQ either, but I've been there for like 7 months. 'slong as you are courteous, I don't think any of us care.

Then I guess I'll try it out, and see if it fits...

If it doesn't then nothing changes.

I guess I'll just join the Republican one than... or may be Indy... (I used 2 consider myself a "moderate liberatarian" until I realized that more government isnt necessarily the problem, but the ways in which Americas neo-Marxists use it is...
