I'd say that as English isn't the OP's first language, it might be kinder to let that slide; how's your Chinese (any variety)? Mine is non-existent.

Yes, American Government Agencies are now required to post forms and public signs in both English and Spanish. Theres just too many Mexicans here.

BTW, I really don't get what the OP's point in this thread. As I said above, those pictures don't really show anything.

Just Spanish? You should say: Spanish, French, Korean (North and South), Japanese, Chinese, and arab.

The pictures were snapshot from a documentary tv program which produce by CBS in 2000,this program contains many reports from beijing ,china,1989,one reporter(dan rather)said:”:yesterday,(july 5th 1989),the chinese soldiers shot US diplomatic department with ak47,and then many western citizen had to leave china .
This documentary named as”20th with milk wallace: Democracy.Crushed..Tiananmen.Square”,I think this program can be download from internet by using BT

No problem, you weren't being malicious. I know it's easy sometimes to forget that for some posters English isn't their first language - especially when so many of these posters write in such excellent English!

Not such a terrible mistake! As I said, I doubt many of us (any of us?) would be able to debate with Chinese people on a Chinese forum in any one of your languages! Some of us even have problems debating in English

ha,because english is easy to learn among major western languages, its grammar is easy to understand and use,(compare to Deutsch),the only difficultly is its vocabulary, too many vocabulary this language has,I think perhaps because england island is invade by many nationalities ,Rome,Frace,Denmark and finally there German tribes from north Europe , english language has many loanwords.

It's mainly because, I never see many sites in other languages, so it just seemed like everyone would be from the US, or some place in Europe
