That depends entirely on which aliens attack. If the aliens from Mars Attacks (hopefully) invade, then all that is needed are speakers and country music.
If the aliens from the Alien quadrilogy invade, suicide is a better option. |

I agree with cap'n. If an alien civilization had the intelligence to invent interplanetary travel, they would also have the intelligence to take stock of what we had and come to Earth with an airtight plan to take us down, which of course, assumes that their technology wouldn't make ours look like wooden clubs vs. Abrams tanks. |

True. Now SG-1 is dead, but I hear that they will replace it with Stargate 2 and a 3rd network show. |

| The producers are looking for a new station. It is odd to think that the scifi channel would throw away a show taht gets over 20 million viewers every friday. |

here's the premise of every episode.
universe destroying disaster comes their way.
group of miss matched soldiers gets caught up in some horrible circumstance.
UNIVERSE IS SAVED!

how misinformed you are, that is hardly the premise of every episode. There is so much mroe depth then that. If that was true, do you think the show would go on for 10 years, and get 20 million viewers every friday. I think not.
And you want to know the real reason? It is because the show is so popular that Scifi cannot fork over the cash. |

God, SG-1 is gold. I love that show, even though I've only seen a few sporadicly spaced episodes, and only a vague impression of the underlying plot...
And, for the record, it is far from

i've been watching it for years and to me that's what every single episode is based on. |

Actually they have tried to, but failed every time of late. Wait the episode's fourth horsemen part 1 and 2 they succeded.
Now let us end this pointless arguement. |
