I just got a laptop, and I don't have an internet connection at my new house (just moved.) What are some good free games I can download while I am at work and then play at home, offline? It would be great if you could provide links.
Regards,

I never play free games. I'd just use Bittorrent.
This was one free off-line game I thought was fun, though:

| OMFG! I used to play Warpath when I was like 12..... It's been forever since then. I'd completely forgotten it even exists. I remember at one point I got so good at the game I could beat it without even trying. |

Good luck.
If you do wish to be a jackass and pirate games..it wont do you much good. Most offline games have protection against piracy, and online games are typically s**t to play single player...and there's no way in HELL you will be able to play an online game off of Bittorrent. |

Ha! That's like pitting a Palistinian with a rock against four Israeli soldiers with automatic weapons and saying the fight is fair, as the Palistinian has "protection." |

You can trick CD drives into recognizing the disk, you can fomd cd keys, you can rename and add files... there's really nothing stopping you from playing a game you don't have if you know how to do it, I've done it before when I lost my disk to WC3. Emulators and ROMs are also good if you don't feel like getting out old systems.
