| It was a Helicopter collision. They were malfunctioning and collided, no soldiers were killed 4 were wounded, the wrecks have been salvaged and are being repaired to put back in action. |

I was using Reuters and a multitude of other sources http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L20837472.htm.
Other reports appear to say 1 pilot was killed. But they all list at least 5 of the crew surviving, a few say both pilots were killed. Either way it is a tragic accident. |

| u describe it in any way u want... i'll still say that it was funny knowing that the well trained army of israel (which is considered better than the US's according to many army magazines) could end up in such a "tragic event" >>> running into electricity wires!!! hahahahaha.... :) |

It was a collision not a run into electrical wires. Even Al-Jazeera and Arab media accept that for example the Khaleej Times of the UAE if that will sway you. |

| You can't read US or Israeli or Arab news to get the facts. Even the British press is gagged by the UK government because of their involvement with the US. You need to read European press that have resources and people on the ground. French, Italian, German, Spanish, etc. They have no axe to grind, the others are propaganda. |

Actually, it's a functional army. I can understand why the concept can baffle someone from an Arab country, seeing that you guys haven't had once since the 7th century. |

| Celebrating people's death is the most horrible thing that one could do. I would say the same even if Saddam or Hitler died. |

| I cannot agree with that in such absolute terms such as for Hitler. |

I agree completely. Watching the celebration of Scott Peterson getting the death penalty on television affected me greatly... |

| Skywalker has a point it was all over the news. aljazeera, cnn, bbc, etc. Seems like what Nasrallah said today with Israel lieing to their people and to the world is true. |

They didn't lie...it was described as a "mid-air" collission. A collission with what had yet to be enumerated upon. Now we know...and just as Skywalkers post has...it changes nothing. |

I doubt it will be enumerated upon honestly. The Israeli media has been covering up a lot of s**t. Thats when you compare to what the European media is reporting. |

That is actually an increasingly disturbing phenomenon. We have the Israel and the American media feeding their people a distorted image to conjure up support for the policies of their regimes and on the other side we have the Arab media basically doing the same with respect to Hezbollah.
So in total, what we are getting is a wide scale attempt to influence the public opinion (either intentionally or unintentionally), which will distort the public opinion and only feed the hatred and prejudice prevalent among the people. |

That's true to some extent.
Though, if I am not mistaken, Saladin came after 7th century. |
