Iran is at war with Israel because Iranian troops are combating the IDF in Lebanon.
International law gives Israel the right to bomb Iran itself.
Can you say, “Opportunity knocking?”
Israel could take out Iran’s nuclear program, and I for one consider that a legitimate military target.

Hundreds of Iranian Revolutionary Guard personnel are on the ground in Lebanon fighting Israel, security sources say.
“I have no doubt whatsoever that they are there and operating some of the equipment,” an Arab diplomatic source told The New York Sun yesterday.
Another foreign source, based in Washington, said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps contingent in Lebanon is based in Beirut and in the Bekaa Valley. He said the troops usually number a few dozen, but that the size of the force increased in connection with the hostilities that have broken out between Israel and Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, over the past week.
The sources said the Iranians had directly operated a radar-guided C-802 missile that Iran acquired from Communist China and that hit an Israeli navy missile boat off the coast of Lebanon on Friday, killing four Israeli seamen.
“This was a direct message to the Israelis that we are fighting the Iranians here,” the Arab diplomatic source said. |

Let's hope this is not true. (Although I suspect it could well be) Otherwise the Middle East maybe about to become one almighty bloodbath! |

| well, we each have our sides we're rooting for. Isn't it great to be an american? In other countries the thought police would force us to back the state's choice. |

I'm sorry, were you referring to a sporting event or impending war involving the deaths of potentially thousands of people? Judging by your enthusiasm it's hard to tell.
Yeah Team.... |

I hope my beloved Dallas Cowboy's cornerbacks can backpeddle as well as you can.
Would that be the pre-emptive part that this topic is referring to. The part about the Iranian troops being in Lebanon?
I believe you saw your your team in their unis and got all excited with yourself. |

Except that Iran could blow the hell out of the entire Middle East and make history on its own.
I would LOVE for Israel to do anything to Iran. That way it would have a legitimate excuse to finaly test its nuclear program, see the results, and see what improvements can be made. |

How I wish this to happen. Iran is the only one in that region which needs to display what true warfare means.
True warfare is not slow and old Israeli tanks bombing Lebanon, and it's not poor Hezbollah firing their pitty Katyusha rockets. It is Iran setting the ME to 5000 degrees. Hahahahaah. |

Now we know why Iran needs a nuclear deterrent. If they had the bomb, The Israeli pit-bull would be in its kennel, tied up, safe from the neighbourhood. |

Not really. We operated under the shadow of the Soviet Union tied at the time for the most powerful nuclear power on the planet, a fully ardent supporter of the Arab nations and armies, they not only supported them in equipping their entire armies and filling their arsenals, as well as training their troops, but also supplied their own troops for their defense and to man their defensive infrastructre. They not so vaguely threatened us with the consequances of a nuclear instigated war.
We always acted according to our interests and our security.
If Iran does get nuclear weapons and decides to interfere with us on a nuclear exchange then it too will burn, as well a large part of our enemies in the Arab world. |

That can't be proved either way at the moment. So I'd hold that belief. Iran are itching to have a pop at Israel and this conflict is a perfect excuse for them to do so!! |
