With so many debates raging, and with so many differing opinions, I thought that it would be a good idea to have Official PC Debates. Basically, they would work with each of the Political Parties (or those granted HQ's on the forums) would have the option of nominating one individual to represent that party in the debates. After the individuals are selected, they will then go into a moderated town-hall style debate-with you all asking the questions! Then we will choose a winner (haven't figured out how this will be done, if you have input, please speak up) who will forever have bragging rights!
Thoughts? Suggestions? Complaints? Problems? Also, how would I go about implementing this officially if it turns out that it wouldn't be just a huge waste of time. I would be more than happy to moderate these debates, so the forum administration would not have to worry about it.
P.S. I'm not sure where I should have posted this, but it can be moved if need be. |

Howdy Bruce :hi:
They already have these debates... just drop into each forum and you will get all the info you need if you are interested in participating. Most of these threads will be more like talking politics in a bar, and less like a debate.. IMO
I don't dress up... so I stay in the bars. |

Funny guy
I'm packin 1 GIG of ram... the letters appear before I type. But the ram doesn't help my grammar one bit. 8:)
However, if you work online with any significant software, juiced out ram is well worth the $ and time.
photoshop cs, dreamweaver mx, flash mx, outlookexpress, adobe premier pro, ftp program, notepad, word, and 1-20+ Explorer windows accessing different sites, PLUS an online poker client!! .. all these are fired up and ready to rock! If you excel with multi-tasking RAM IS GOD!
If you put me on a comp with 256 meg of ram or lower, sorry, i'd have to crash that Honda. |

Honda Powers Entire Indianapolis 500 Field Without Single Engine Failure ~ Jun 29, 2006
Quote: Not only did it power all 33 starters in the 90th Indianapolis 500, none of them suffered any engine problems or failures.
"That was our objective, but I wasn't overly optimistic because that's such a huge challenge," said Robert Clarke, president of Honda Performance Development. "We had performed well in previous races so we went into Indy with a high degree of confidence but it's still very demanding.
"I mean, 33 cars and 500 miles and completely different weather conditions. Our people and Ilmor did a great job. We pulled it off."
After scoring back-to-back Indy wins with Buddy Rice and Dan Wheldon, along with two consecutive Indy Racing League titles (Tony Kanaan and Wheldon), Honda was poised to score a "threepeat" over its archrival before Toyota shockingly pulled the plug on 2006.

Hey I loved teh Tandy!
When I had a commodore 64 and the only games were Infocom text adventures, the Tandy & Leisure Suit Larry were shining beacons of technology. :-D |

 Jeez. I can only imagine how cluttered your taskbar is. And you should really ditch IE. Get Opera.
I to have 1 gig of RAM. I've been thinking of kicking it up to 2 as my PC is a bit sluggish. I like to keep alot of apps open for a long time. |

| Yep, they're called 'The Great Debates'. I'm still technically undefeated because I had to forfeit by place last time to go stateside (it was terrible!). The last two winners were Eternal and Chingu I believe. |

| We have the Great Debates and they are likely coming up soon. Each HQs will pick one representative and the grading will be done by the staff. Not sure who was put in charge of them though. |
