No-one. Meddling in time travel could create unstable pardoxes creating a fatal rip in the time/space continuum. Or something....

Castro, pre Russian missiles in Cuba.

A large enough change to do some good, a small enough change not to radically alter history.

2nd choice, Martin Luther. The splitting up of the Christian Church wasn't a good thing, neither was the anti-semitic inspiration he gave to Hitler. This would be a more major change.

I think killing Luther would be a really bad idea.

I wouldn't kill anybody, who knows what would happen if those people were killed?

You mean Brutus and Cassius, the ringleaders behind the assasination of Julius Caesar? Why? He did after all bring down the Roman Republic and institute a dictatorship that would last for as long as the roman state existed.......

The guy who made the bullets, the guy who made the gun, and the guy who made the time machine! Yay! Watching the universe dissolve into a swirling vortex or whatever would be amusing...for a bit.

Meh...killing Mohammed would be a bad idea.

Firstly...the Middle East would have fallen into a similar Dark Age as Europe...basically screwing over any chance for humanity's knowledge to grow for a long while.

Secondly...then you'd have everyone as a Christian or a Jew or something over there... A worldwide religion would be really really bad.

I'd probably go kill Jesus as he was a baby. Would save the world so much grief...in removing the two biggest and most deadly religions (Islam and Christianity). Although it's possible some other religions would take their place, it's unlikely they would have such a far-reaching and dramatic impact on the world.

Although I'm tempted to go back even farther and kill Moses...that would have ended Judaism and thus, Christianity and Islam...but that would give a lot of time for a new, similar religion to form which would probably be just as bad as Christianity and Islam.

Second..I'd kill Genghis Khan. He killed FAR more people in his conquests than Hitler.

Thirdly...Mao Tse-Tung. His s**t in China ended up killing 76 million people, and modern Communist China has really done very little good and a lot of bad for the world.

true but Ceasar was about to embark on a campaign to Parthia, we would have crushed them most likely adding even more fame to his reputation and making Rome even more feared. and after him who's to say Octavian wouldnt have become the next ruler anyway..... but really i jsut wanted to see Ceasar succeed.

First choice: Martin Luther. He was a heretic who in the long term caused lots of problems.

2nd: Karl Marx. Communism's bad. enough said.

3rd: King James. Anybody dumb enough to start their own church just because they wouldn't be allowed an annulment deserves to have their genes taken out of the gene pool.

The Catholic Church of the time was irredeemably corrupt. Although if Martin Luther hadn't kick-started protestantism with a vengeance, somebody else would have.

True enough.

I think you mean Henry VIII. Yep, he was a bastard, and the dissolution of the monastries led to the destruction of most of the most beautiful buildings in Britain and left them crumbling ruins. Although he was the father of our greatest ever monarch (imho) Elizabeth I, so I'd let him sire her first
Having said that, I think the break with Rome was inevitable at some point. Protestantism was rising in popularity in England due to the corruption and hypocrisy of the Catholic Church of this period......

I'd put all three bullets into Hitler. 2 would make him wish he was dead, and the third would grant such a wish.

*Edit* He ended up killing himself anyways...so...
