rad-i-cal [rad-i-kuhl] (adjective):
"favoring drastic political, economic, or social reforms"
I believe that the abolition of Capitalism fits those requirements...
And it doesn't connotate revolution by any means. "Revolutionary HQ" would connotate revolution, but a Radical HQ is comprised of anti-capitalists; at least on these forums. Anyone that bothers to read the party description would understand that, and anyone that doesn't isn't worth your time anyone...
The name isn't really what's important; the philosophies behind it are.
Nonetheless, the other approach is more specific and less confusing:
"The Anti-Capitalist HQ" : A place for those whose strongest ideological position is an opposition to capitalism.
"The Anti-Government HQ" : A place for those whose strongest ideological position is an opposition to government.
Simple. Problem solved; no more confused people and no one left to be insulted by offhanded remarks. |

[shrug]
The Radical HQ can call themselves whatever they wish, but Anarchist is the same as Anti-Government. We're Anarchists and we prefer to be addressed as such. |

Because the Radical HQ does not stand upon the premise of the elimination of government, it argues for the elimination of Capitalism. Logically, I would not belong in the Radical HQ since I support a system of Free Market Capitalism. |
