I have heard conflicting words and opinions on what is generally accepted in the Islamic faith. Is the "Christian" Jesus considered to be the Messiah in Islamic faith?
Thanks! |

| How is that He comes back and destroys the Jews, if this is the case? |

Would he be the one that is supposed to return to be the Messiah? |

Does Mohammed come back too, or just Jesus? What about the other prophets? |

Only jesus.
He did not die
Altough we do not believe he was crucified.
All humans must die. All the other prophets have died. He is still alive, and will return, but will also die. |

I'm aware you don't believe he was crucified. If he didn't die where is he? Is he waiting around on Earth or "alive" in Heaven?
Also if he didn't die and is the only one of the prophets to return, does that make him the most important one (in the grand scheme of things), more so than Mohammed? |

no showboat, it doesn't make him more important than mohammad.
mohammad is the prophet god loves the most, and the messaih will come to complete mohammad's message, even though they all had the same message.
we don't know where the messiah is but certainly not on earth. |

I didn't realize that was part of the belief in Jesus. So is this your belief or a generally accepted Muslim belief that Jesus is still alive waiting for the time to return? |

Here is the text which relates this story
Quote: An-Nisâ'
And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the
Messenger of Allâh," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa
(Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of
doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed
him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) >>>]:
But Allâh raised him ['Iesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he >> is in the
heavens). And Allâh is Ever AllPowerful, AllWise.

The only man that would return is God's prophet Jesus the Christ and that was not crucified by anyone but raised to the 4th sky (or heaven). He will be folower of Mohammad (peace be upon him)... when he will return.
Jesus will find the orignal text of bible near Istanbul... He will kill the person called "anti-christ", we say "Dajjal." Then he would unite the world that was devided by the religions themselves. You can say the renewed religion Islam or Christianity but it would be a religion of everybeing on the earth. |

Assalamu Alakum.
What about Elijah and Enoch? They didn't die.
BTW...Jesus Christ did die and rose Himself from the dead.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.
17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
19 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,
20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

it depends on who from these religions will accept what jesus will have to say, as far as i know he will be saying what mohammad said. |
