Todd D already easily dismantled that essay, which is boring and based largely on assumptions about the information in the scripture that are simply incorrect.

Jesus told Mary that he hadn't yet ascended to his Father in Heaven because he hadn't. According to the scriptural record, Jesus didn't ascend into heaven until after his resurrection. Between his death and resurrection, Jesus went to paradise, where he taught the spirits in prison.

Paradise is not heaven, but is the place where the spirits of the dead reside, awaiting the time of their resurrection. It is only after the resurrection that man stands before God to be judged, and then receives his heavenly (or otherwise) reward.

He answered half the questions by saying "so", "ya", and "so what", LMAO, I guess that's how Christians maintain their sanity when confronted with the truth. I guess it's also how you dismantle thought provoking logic!

ok...to save face you guys have said

1 Mary wasn't looking at jesus who she thought was the gardener.

Because people don't look at the person they are talking to!! That's common.

now #2 Jesus says he hasn't ascended to his father yet because he's really been in some magic land! And when she goes to touch, probably a big hug, he says "don't touch me". Why? because it would hurt...he has not yet ascended unto his father. Why would it hurt? he's alive, he's got some serious injuries he shows his disciples later on whe they don't believe it's him.

Whatever else may be said, something happened that was witnessed by many that changed their entire lives forever (example: Peter) and that enabled a fledgling church to survive to this day.

There is no possibility of a reasonable argument.

You're confused between 2 concepts: 1) What God has done and 2) What's your explanation of what God has done. It's perfectly possible that 1) cannot be fully understood by reasoning, but 2) still has to be logical. You're not God, if you want to convince someone you've to be logical. You seem to be saying 'I'm right I know it but I can't explain that logically.' That's totally bull to non-believers and you're just making yourself look like someone unreasonable or someone who tries to avoid losing an argument by saying 'this cannot be explained by logic'.

....Of course He is alive. He is in the Resurrected glorified body. Which is described as being "transformed"...which by definition would be different...the same...yet...different.

Also...if you knew your Bible....you would know that Jesus presented His body in the true "Temple" in Heaven as the acceptable sacrifice. He couldn't touch Mary for the same reason that a High Priest couldn't touch anyone before entering the Holy of Holies...only Jesus was about to enter the real Holy of Holies and be the eternal sacrifice for all time.

HE SAID HIMSELF...I have NOT yet ASCENDED into heaven.

He was DISGUISED as a gardedner.

He STILL had his injuries after his supposed ressurection.

As for your transfiguration...there's more detail and account of Jesu's ride on a donkey then there is of the transfiguration!
