| If I remember right if you do a Ctrl Alt Dlt you get that as one of your options. |

Control panel> performance and maintenance> Little system restore button on top left under 'See also' |

| How do you perform one, I got to the tab System Restore but it doesn't tell me how to do it... |

You should have already made a system restore point at some point in the past.
Start->help&support->system restore/backup point
That should give detailed instructions for you XP users.
That should help a little better than we are here. |

Why do you want to do a system restore? If you have a virus or something that is a bad idea.

| I have spyware quake as a program on my comp and no matter what I do it doesn't leave. I uninstall it, delete it, and take the virus away but it is still there. |

Don't restore for that.
