question. if jesus were Gods only son, why would he send him to die?

Then He'd rather rule the world directly by Himself instead of sending anyone down, and all the miracles forfeit themselves automatically, as they are no longer meaningful in His direct presence. But the question is, is that all He wants for mankinds? :wink:

i never meant not send anyone down. i believe God has been sending spritual guidance through men with a very close relashinship with Him and i believe jesus is one of those people.

Good, now we reach the consensus that Jesus didn't lie. All left is who He claimed He Himself is. So if He said "I AM", He must be. :wink:
