Yes but he was never going to get to that point. He knew that it was his mission and duty in life to give his life for humanity. |

He wasn't God's only son. He was God's only begotten son in the flesh. And he didn't send him to die. Christ offered to be the sacrificial lamb. |

Because the power of atonement could only be met with the perfect blood of God himself. The technical reason to why and how that is true is a mystery to me at this time....but I've felt the results and whole heartily believe it to be true. |
