| Is there anyway to get something back that I typed. I typed out my homework on the website we go to turn it in then a stupid pop-up took over the window and I pressed back to go back to my homework and everything was gone. I didn't save it in word because the website saves it. Please tell me there is something I can do, to get it back. |

Use a pop up blocker and save your work often. I don't know of anyway to get it back.
I hate it when stuff like that happens. |

If you can't hit the "forard" button and get it back then your SOOL.
Saving form information is up to the sight and your browser I think. |

dude, that s*cks.
i have no solution but have had your situation.
one thing to do, as much as possible, highlight what your working on, right-click and COPY. do this like your obsessed with it.
tell your school what morons they are for not having a save reminder, or anything to stop the browse before asking you want to save.
also, ask some developer if they could write a firefox extension that will copy contents of textboxes into some location that you can later retrieve. they would tell you to just get a keylogger. but, i'm telling you, it would save lots of time if they targeted textboxes as oppsed to every keystroke. |
