| I got on the comp a couple days ago and suddenly I have this stupid thing that says it's a security thing and it will not go away. I uninstalled it but it is still there and its driving me nuts. It says it has found some viruses and spamware but it won't do anything until I download the fricken program how do I get it off? |

| You may have to go into safe mode after updating both Adaware and Spybot with the latest updates.Run a scan one at a time and one of them should be able to clean it off for you.If it can't clean it while booted up then it will ask for permission to run a scan after rebooting and it should work then because they will run before windows loads and the files have a chance to start up and block the effort. |
