Quote: Three Warnings
Three accumilated warnings by any or all Moderators or Administrators will result in a ban of 7 days. Any warnings after that will result in permanent banning from site for a period of 1 year. After consultation of Moderators and Administration.
Is this three warning over a certain period of time?
Or is it just three warings over the lifespan of ones account? ( ie. if one recieved a warning two years ago, last year, and today, would they get a 7 day ban?) |

It depends on the nature of the warnings (what rules were broken) moreso than the length of time between each warning, in my opinion. Now if you had warnings fairly close together, then yes, three strikes and you are a candidate for a 'time out'. I would say maybe a good rule of thumb would be three warnings within a 12 month span. Which I might add, is completely doable, as we have members here who have never received any warnings after a long length of posting time here.
I would say if you received a warning two years ago, and then got another one very recently, that the first one from two years ago would not count toward the three.
But again, it would depend on the nature of the transgression to begin with. Some things are so harsh (for lack of a better word) that some will not even get a 'three strike' grant.. and they will go right to banned land. |
