Remember the good old days when global warming was caused by SUVs and their internal combustion engines? Ahh…to live is such a simple world again.
The new CO2 generating scourge of the world is Titanium Dioxide and it’s coming to make your life easier.
TiO2 is photocatalytic, meaning that it will facilitate chemical reactions when hit with UV light. Any organic material reacts with water and becomes CO2. It’s great for the outside of buildings because the surface keeps itself perfectly clean. It’s great for the inside of buildings because viruses, germs, and fungus can’t live on it. TiO2 isn’t harmful to humans because it’s not poisonous. It simply turns organic material into CO2.
Buildings are already being coated with it and PPG Industries has already come out with “Sunclean” windows. Soon buildings everywhere will be giving off CO2 all day long.
