For a lack of facts, actually. There is no evidence to suggest that God exists - and there never has been.
If you want to believe in unicorns, that's your choice. And there is no evidence to suggest that God doesn't exist.
The evidence is there is none that he exist so that would equate to non existence. I guess my problem with the rash of "God doesn't exist, you can't prove it" childish threads going on right now is this: Why on earth do you people care whether people believe God exists or don't? You seem to be going out of your way to throw these little tantrums of insulting the beliefs of people. Really, what is the point of all of this? You aren't going to convince any believers to see it your way.
Like I have said before I'm only here to hopefully hear something I have not heard before...I so far have not ...In reality I'm not here to convince any believers to see it my way...I'm trying to hear something that might change my mind...And untill I hear it there simply can not be a God just for the point of saying there is one.. See? We can sit here and trade expressions of intellectual arrogance all day. The point is that you will never believe in a God, and I will never believe that there isn't one. Each of us knows our side to be true based on our own perceptions and experiences. |

If this thread is childish then why are you still posting on this thread? No one is forcing you to read or post on this thread.

It's poor English, and it prevents me from knowing what you're saying. Also, you do not live in reality. Asking how the Bible is evidence is ignorance. That's your idea of an insult? I imagine just about every conversation in which the participants disagree is also insulting, in your opinion? It is an apt comparison. If you can believe in God, you can also believe in unicorns, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. You've never seen or been shown documented and verifiable proof of them, but there one is, asserting they exist. |
