Mattwa both scripture I quoted were from the Old TEstament. Jesus forgave sins and there clearly equated himself with God in the doing. He was nearly stoned for this on at least one occasion.

As I said, maybe the Old Testament is wrong.

Actually you refered to the NT but if you meant the OT fine. None the less if the error made is that grave then atheism is as good a bet as any.

I for one do not however believe it to be.
