Well apparently the photo thread in the lounge got locked, the reason being that I mostly and a few others were speaking in french which apparently didn't please everyone (even though the argument that sparked in the thread was to be taken lightly I think).
I hope I wasn't the cause for this, but If I was I'm sorry, again everything that I said was to be taken lightly, along with everybody's elses' comments.

On the other hand :-D , I do have a proposal to make. What about a language forum, in which we could discuss topics in other languages? I think it would be great for language initiation or training.

What do you think? Isn't this the greatest idea or what?

(don't diss me, if you can create a conspiracy forum than you can surely do this, right?)

Eh pointless. Just create a thread in the lounge or talk in your native tongue in European politics. But I wouldn't oppose one either.

I wouldn't want to flood the lounge with endless language related threads, now would I?
Also the European forum would only concern European languages what about the rest of the world?

Finally, no, it is not pointless

The thread was locked because you and a few others hijacked it.

It was locked because when people drag it off topic it's one thing... to have people telling each other to "f**k off", it's quite another. Flame fests WILL be locked, no matter which forum they take place in.

About your language forum proposal.. wait for an admin to opine about it. I have no personal preference either way, and I am but a mere peon here.

Thanks.

Until there is enough interest shown to warrant creating another forum none will be created.
