Why Hasn't anyone tried to disprove the exsitance of Satan?
I have seen numerous threads trying to prove and disprove god, but never one at attempt on satan. |

I don't have a possible answer for that one. |

| Perhaps, it's because many of us realize that Satan is a Persian myth. |

Probably because Satan is currently called 'Mr. President'.
On a serious note, a Power that ‘helps’ the world fall apart is much more believable than a Power that ‘allows’ it to fall apart. Using only logic, it really makes the label ‘evil’ rather hard to assign… |

Satan is very real and he is an inseparable aspect of the "material" world which you inhabit. That said, he's not quite as "evil" as most men would like to think.. As a rule, evil happens when men abuse their God-given Free Will.. It doesn't happen just b/c "the devil made me do it".. Lame excuse. May have worked (on the ignorant) in centuries past, but today man is called to act and behave a little more responsibly.
The only trick lies in figuring out who he really is.. what his *real* identity is.
The answer lies in his name itself: the Accuser.

 btw...I wouldn't elevate ole' dumya, to the mythical competancy level of say...a "Satan." I can't remember all of the neat little demon names, from the books the Catholic clergy likes to hide on the top shelves of their libraries.
However, do find it appealing to consider 'Mr. President' no more than an imbecilic wart minion, one of the lesser creatures... |

Because there aren't a lot of people saying you are a bad person if you don't believe in Satan? :)
Because if people believe that God created everything, disproving God would disprove Satan by default?
Disproving Satan would be a good idea, since God couldn't exist without His opposite. Not sure how you could do it, though. |

well if there was book such as "paul's letters to the underword", disproving the devil would be easier with the textual references |

Satan is not the same thing as the Devil, is he?
The number of devils is Legion, and they can be cast out whereever they may be found.. Satan, on the other hand, is *one*.. the Prince of Darkness, so to speak.
also, St. Paul does mention Satan repeatedly in his Epistles.. |
