Who'd have thought George W. Bush would be sitting at a measly 33% approval rating at this point five years into his presidency?

Especially this report coming from Fox News??? See: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,192468,00.html

This really isn't all that funny folks but if i put it in the P & G forum no doubt some mod would get touchy and be all over my butt. That'll usually happen when you point out the truth...

Now I KNEW the public was gonna wake up at some point in the game, but figured just about the low forties or so. Poll numbers that indicate a really bad, and dumb president.

But 33%??? And the term ain't nearly over yet? No one wants to see that. Probably the reason Fox News is turning against the president. Who's next, Laura?

Anyway the game is played this way: You pick a number and try not to go BELOW what Bush's eventual low water mark becomes during the course of his remaining term.

It's just the opposite of Blackjack where you want to get as close to twenty-one without going OVER...

In fact 21% wouldn't be a far fetched guess at this point. I mean Nixon's was just 25%. With a little work Old Dubya should pull off numbers even lower than those that "Tricky Dick's" were.

But I hope he doesn't go that low. You really don't want that bad of a screwball in the White House. At that point he's got nothing to lose. This makes him especially dangerous.

So I'll pick just a hair above 22 %.

Paid for by yours truly. Unless I win and then it'll come out of your pocket.

Actually I hope my guess is too low and I won't win.

Since he can't be elected to public office for the rest of his life, I don't see what it matters how low or high his approval rating is.
