| I'm writing a self assessment essay on Religion, I'm including christianity, Islam, and Buddahism as the core religions of the world. So I would like it if I could get the core belief or beliefs in Islam. Such as John 3:16 to christianity or the Eight fold path/reincarnation to Buddahists.... |

Buddhism isn't even close to a core religion, if you mean by adherents.

| Thanks, Pharaoh I decided to drop Islam and Buddahism due to the fact I don't know as much about them as I do Christianity. So I didn't want to make it an unequal piece, but thanks for the help, the link helped me learn a little bit more about islam. |
