Row over 'crucifix' protest
13/04/2006 19:52 - (SA)

Vienna - A row erupted on Thursday over plans by animal protectionists to symbolically "crucify" three activists with animal masks in a Good Friday protest outside Vienna's St Stephan's Cathedral.

The militant pro-animal group PETA said the activists would be suspended from crosses with crowns of thorns on their heads.

The slogan of the protest action would be "We suffer and die for your sins of nourishment."

This is just way too far. It reminds me of when Peta compared animal cruelty to the Holocaust. At least the Europeans are starting to see what a$$holes the Peta freaks are.

Are they taking suggestions on who to crucify? It's no fun crucifying activists... Here's my short list:

Cindy Sheehan
Michael Moore
Chippaquiddick Kennedy
Tom Delay
Pat Robertson
Ted Turner (Hanoi Jane as an alternate)

I love it too. It only goes to further the distance between PETA and the sane world.

The sane world? It is Easter Weekend. Is it sane to eat a living creature such as a chicken at a fast food place such as Church's Chicken after going to Church and learning about being GOOD, for you to survive and that creature is a part of you, and you insult it as inferior. You are only insulting yourself. Is that sane or insane. Are you being deceived? And also, you get the energy from devouring your fellow creatures of creation to type things such as "It only goes to further the distance between PETA and the sane world."

Congratulations, PETA. And then these people scratch their heads in puzzlement when 98% of the population laughs at them.
