How do many Christians feel about comestic surgery to correct something they feel isn't right (butt lift, nose job, hair replacement, etc)?
Any thoughts? |

Personally I wouldn't get plastic surgery unless I was disfigured in an accident of something. I don't care if others get it. That's their business.
Be careful or you will end up like Michael Jackson. |

Well that is a thought that would stop most anyone from getting it
:)
The only reason I ask is because I have heard many christians say it is 'playing god' &/or 'messing with god's handywork', so I just wanted to get other's opinions |

| It ceased to be God's handiwork the moment it was exposed to this corrupt world which was right about the time of conception. To be made in God's image is to be made self aware. |

| Objections about medicinal plastic surgery (such as people in accidents, cleft pallets, etc.) make about as much sence as objections to vaccinations. Yes, it is God's work, but God gave us a brain to use as well. If the foundation to your house cracks, you don't see "Oh well, God wanted it to crack." You patch it up. I see no difference between that and the human body. |

1) Reconstructive plastic surgery is definitely OK regardless.
2) I can see both sides in terms of breast enlargement, nose jobs (besides to correct broken/not working correctly noses), hair replacement. I'm not going to condemn those people, but I'm not going to commend them either. |

Interesting question
Some people think God has a hand in everything, some think God allows certain things to happen (creation of plactic surgery for example) & that it is of no/little importance to his plan at all |

God allows us to invent things that are evil, good or in-between. It's called free will. |

| After my car accident last year, I had to have massive reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery of my face. My nose is 95% hard plastic. I don't believe it's playing god. |
