if you were in a foreign country that did it, would you eat dog?
I would. It's no different than eating cow IMO.
I wouldn't eat my dog, a pet, but again, if I raised a chicken as a pet, I wouldn't eat it either |

you have a point, but you sound like you are debating with yourself, and guess what you`ve already won!!!!
so i would like to add.....
why would you have to be in a forgein country to eat a dog? would you not just eat it in your own country, or does your morals correlate with that of your governments laws, or the common morals of your people?
why did you not eat that puppy you threw around the backyard, you should of, i dont see why not. after all, you said you would like to eat a dog. |

I don't know. Is it illegal to eat dog in the US?
Mainly, my morals go along with the Bible for the most part. I have seriously thought about doing this, though.
It's just strange to me that people eat pigs that are raised for food, and some keep pigs as pet (that they couldn't think of eating). Why is it a pig can serve two purposes (pet or food) but a dog can't?
Like I said, I would never eat my pet, whether it was a dog or pig, but I could eat a dog or pig that was raised for food. |

Given a choice, no. I wouldn't order dog off of a menu. As a guest in somebody's house, yes, I wouldn't want to insult them by not eating the dog they provided. |

well you asked, believe in it or not, I was just answering.
I don't know if I'll ever get the opportunity to eat dog as I can imagine, it's only in select parts of the world they do it. But I am 100% sure, if given the opportunity, I would eat it |

Heck no I wouldn't! That's just gross! I wouldn't eat a dog, cat, snake, other reptile, or rodent unless I was in dire straits! |

I suppose I should be more specific, I agree with perdidochas. If I had a choice, no. If it would offend someone if I didn't, then I guess I'd make myself. |

you can't live life doing stuff to 'not offend' someone else. After all, by not offending one person, you will no doubtedly offend someone else.
I'm not saying I'm going to make dog 'the other white meat' in my house. I'm just saying, if given the opportunity, I would partake. Who knows, I might not even like it. |
