Was on the PC (tech) forum and got to thinking...I wonder if there is any correlation between the games we choose to play and the political party we identify with.

I am a hardcore geek and a liberal and I am pretty much a RPG or RTS afficionado but for this poll I had to pick the one I live for and that has to be RPG....NWN, Vampire, Diablo and of course the stellar Elder Scrolls: Oblivion all fall in my top ten.

I'm a liberal/Green, and the few games I remotely enjoy aren't computer based at all. Trivial Pursuit and Pictionary are two of my favorite.

Call me old fashioned...

Since my choice isn't up there, I'm a Conservative Democrat. (Typically called Southern Democrat)

I play Strategy and RPG mostly=0)

Hope that helps.

I guess the party I most closely identify with would be libertarian, play Halo 2 online. Also liked Diddy Kong racing because I'm old an it's simple.

Sorry Liberterians and Greens and other independents I had an independent answer set but htey would not fit the poll parameters....For this poll we are really dealing with generalities anyway if your party is not given then please choose the answer closest to your overall politcal ideology.....ie conserv or lib

I hate to say conservative because I'm an atheist and they tend to be very religious. They also seem to have embraced big govt.
Can't go with liberal either because I do believe that right and wrong are not grey areas and I'm a strong advocate of capitalism. I wouldn't say I'm a mixture of both because they both kind of suck. I've got some differences with Libertarians too, but I can live with those.

Green Party...

I can't kick Diablo II and I know its relatively old. I've been doing it on and off for several years now.

I do it because I love to kill the Devil and thereby save all your souls.

This is a bit more tech than it is politics in that not all political people game. I'm going to move it to the tech forum being that the tech forum is still residing on a political site.

Well, I'm a libertarian and I enjoy FPS but if I were one fo the two options u there I'd probably like RPG so I could pretend to be something else. :(

According to this poll, Liberals enjoy playing story driven games with a predetermined system of rules and guidelines, and Conservatives enjoying shooting s**t up.

Does that sound about right?
