I'm looking for information about a line I heard in a popular song by a popular band - but cannot find where its from.

Its a song where a woman is speaking real clearly and matter-of-factly. She says:

"Satan was there. Satan was real to them.
And Satan ... called himself 'God'"


It sounds like its out of a movie, but it could also be from a show.

Anyone know where its from? or if its part of a prayer or passage from a book?

I googled but came up dry.
