Ever been to a nursing/retirement home? Old folks that never had "religion" don't get better, they get worse! Old women talking about goin' out in the street and makin' a buck with their bodies, old men grabbin' old women, nasty old farts man. Trust me, people left to their own devices don't get better, generally speaking.

why switch? because now I live my life based around the premise of a greater consciousness then my own, more-over much of my actions, thoughts, and desires are takin in hopes of achieving a greater realtionship with that consciousness.
Take that consciousness away and you take away the foundation on which my universe, rational, and priorities are based. Without that foundation my universe, rational, and priorities would change.
