You know, I'm sure there were at least as many human murders as their were 'dog murders' in this case. Why aren't you guys as upset over humans getting killed as you are over rover. Sounds like this guy is merely doing his part to control the overpopulated pet population
so the YELP dogs make when you step on them (try it - but do it to a Rotweiller please) is just the sound of music to you?
Actually most dogs DON'T yelp when you step on them, they have a pretty high tolerance for pain. They do, however, feel PHYSICAL pain, not emotional, which, I think, is what Leon was saying.
baseless fact.
dogs do have emotion and pain. just because they cant speak, they do communicate this.
emotion is very tied to sex. and dogs have sex.
to say dogs have no feelings, or even undervaluing it - pretty much makes you an ignorant person. or someone in denial of the facts.
or, perphaps, a bigot. |

Well I can only say from my experience as a dog trainer that most dogs have a high tolerance for pain and don't yelp. But then again, that's just my experience.
Dogs have conditioned emotion, ie joy at hearing their bowls being rattled etc. Dogs do not feel the way humans do, emotionally and psychologically. Personally, if you'd rather have a dog be just as good as you are that's your problem, not mine. |

I take it you don't own any animals. If you were to step on a dog's foot, I'm 100% sure he/she would let out a yelp, as if I were to step on your feet with cleats. |

I do own 4 (soon to be 3 when I drop off #4 at the pound today) dogs. Like I explained earlier, a dog yelping is acting on instinct as it can't reason pain. It's a self defense mechanism.
Just like touching a hot plate your hand instictively pulls back before the pain registers, then human reasoning kicks in where pain is perceived.
A dog has that same instinct, the pullback, the yelp, but the reasoning and understanding why (pain) isn't there. YOu are anthropromothilizing animals.
(I need to figure out how to spell that word if I keep posting on this thread, that's for sure) |

By that logic, I should be able to decapitate you with you feeling no pain. You're anything but human. |

wow, to watch how quickly people resort to name calling when people don't agree with idiocy.
DOGS ARE BELOW MAN.
I'm starting a new thread with another question that will be good to 'discuss'. Leave your name calling back in 5th grade though |

Maybe I should say it's the most horrible thing that's ever been done to animals, anyway. |

| I would hope the person doing this is actually mentally deranged. If not, then the person should be fined & jailed. Let the prison sytem take care of 'it'. |
