You do understand that when a woman dies during an abortion the fetus dies too, don't you? |

No, the fetus is going to die no matter what in an abortion. Illegal abortions won't save anything. |

| A lot of things, like traffic laws, state laws, etc. are made illegal, and even though not everyone follows these laws, it makes the state, and roads a lot safer. Yes there are millions of car accidents and mishaps, but think of what it would be like if we didn't have these laws. It would be total chaos. Now, making abortion illegal, with some exceptions (such as if the woman we're raped, or if the woman and child would both die during birth, etc.) would save a lot of lives. Its not the babie's fault they were produced or whatever you want to call it, so who are "you" (meaning abortionists) to take its right to live away. Yes, it could lead to a dirty knife, but hey, thats your decision. There are consequences for breaking the law, and if you are going to do it, and you get infected or die or whatever, its your own fault and punishment. |

Abortions at 3.5 weeks before the due date are not legal anywhere. |

That's like saying people have to have sex to give a baby a chance in life. |

23 states prohibit abortions past the point of viability (generally considered to be 24 - 27 weeks). 5 prohibit abortion in the 3rd trimester. 7 prohibit aborton after 24 weeks. 1 prohibits abortion after 20 weeks. 4 have had their abortion limits permanently enjoined so they need new laws.
Roe v. Wade specifically mentions the point of viability. Anything later is aganst the law. |
