I have been reading over some of my previous posts from awhile back, mainly during the whole "cartoon conflict." And it has become apparent to me that I said very harsh things about Islam and Muslims in general.
Politics is a sticky business and we all get overheated on certain issues. However, my goal is not to slander an entire religion or the people of that religion, at least it was not my original intention.
Anyway my apologies to everyone who may have been offended by my comments. Many of them were inappropriate and are not consistent with my views. I really am embarassed about what I said in the past, and I'm sorry.

No it is not a joke. I really am embarassed about some stuff I said. I think that I lost a lot of credibility and I would like to earn it back. |

Don't be embarrased. There's nothing to be ashamed of. I, too, had my misconceptions about the West long before I joined this forum, but now I know better. :) |

I dont know what you said before about Islam but I want you to know that I respect any man who confess that he was wrong about something.
We all make mistakes, but only few would confess openly that they were wrong.

Basically I used to believe that Islam is the reason for so much of the terrorism that exists in the Middle East.
However now I realize that people are the reason for so much of the terrorism that exists in the Middle East. |
